Thursday | Jerusalem New City
See the coming of age Bar-Mitzvah ceremonies at the Western Wall. Enjoy a fascinating walk through the unltra-orthodox neighbourhood at Mea Shearim. Drive by the Knesset, Israel’s parliament and see the famous Menorah with biblical emblems. Visit the Shrine of the Book to see the original Dead Sea Scrolls.
Friday | Dead Sea
Descend to the Dead Sea – the lowest place on Earth. Visit the ancient city of Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found. Continue along the shores of the Dead Sea to the magnificent cliff top fortress of Masada. Ascend via cable car to explore the remains of King Herod’s luxurious palace. Stop for a lunch and spa facilities at a private Dead Sea beach. Take the chance to enjoy a float on the salty waters of the Dead Sea (lunch included). Return to Jerusalem.
