Itinerary


Sunday                     Pickup / Negev Desert

08:00 – Starts Tel Aviv
Travel south into the Negev desert; Visit Israel’s Air Force Museum at Hatzerim to view the planes and equipment and to hear the story of this brave fighting force.
 Visit Sde Boker and see Ben Gurion’s Hut and grave, overlooking the magnificent Zin valley. Stop at Mitzpeh Ramon to gaze into the Ramon Crater, an amazing geological wonder.
 Drive to Timna to see the copper mines of King Solomon and marvel at the huge multi-colored rock formations.

Overnight: Eilat

Monday                   Free day (or full day Petra tour)

Enjoy a free day in Eilat today exploring the Red Sea coastal resort
OR
Leave Eilat early in the morning, crossing the Arava border and drive through the scenic Jordanian desert.  Enjoy a spectacular tour exploring the rose-red city of Petra.
 Enjoy a short horse ride, and then travel on foot through the awesome ‘SIQ’ valley. Visit the Treasury, and explore hundreds of buildings, tombs, temples, and a 3,000-seat theatre from the first-century AD.
Stop for lunch, followed by a visit to Moses Spring before leaving Wadi Moussa. Drive to Aqaba for a short city tour, returning to the Arava border and back to Eilat hotel. (Included Lunch)
Overnight: Eilat 

Tuesday                   Bedouin experience

Visit the Eilat underwater observatory, built into a coral reef and one of the largest sea aquariums in the world. Drive trough Negev Desert for a camel riding experience and a visit to an authentic Bedouin tent;
Learn about the Bedouin hospitality and enjoy a light lunch.
Drive back to Tel-Aviv.
17:00 – Finish Tel Aviv
