Itinerary: Commencing on Day Eight:

Day 8

Suez military tour
Experience a half day visit to the Suez where you will review the military history of this important area. Drive back via the Citadel of Saladin and continue on for a visit to the Egypt Military Museum. Enjoy the remainder of the afternoon in Old Cairo for a visit to the Islamic and Coptic Quarters. (B)

Day 9 

Alexandria
Drive to Alexandria for a visit to the Qait Bay Fort, the spectacular Catacombs of Alexandria and Pompey's Pillar. Check-in to the hotel, and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure strolling through the Palaces of Montaza.
Overnight: Alexandria (B)

Day 10                         

El Alamein military tour
Depart this morning for the city of El Alamein (110 km approx.), for a guided tour of the battlefields where one of the decisive victories of WWII took place. Stop for a visit to the El Alamein Military Museum. Return to Cairo for overnight.

Departure
Departure transfer to the airport for departure flight (B)
